1/12 Porsche 917
No. 20 from the movie Le Mans

This is the 1/12 scale Porsche 917 #20 from the movie Le Mans.  It started as an ABC kit from Italy.  I built it as a curbside. 

The body was painted with Zero Paints Gulf Blue and Orange. 

The rear frame is made out of brass, replacing the weak white metal included with the kit. The rear deck latches and the tail lights are also scratch built. 

Thanks to Mike Kendel for the windshield and side glass.  This project has taken me a year to complete, working on and off.  Glad it is done.
