FIA 1969 Group 2 Homologation List – just what it says it is.

This contest is open to models of any car that would qualify under these rules. TransAm cars do qualify, but cars from any racing series in the world are included, not just TransAm cars. Phantoms are welcome too – you don’t have to build a replica of an actual car, just a car that meets the rules and would have had an interesting history. Rally cars are also accepted for this contest.
Before you complain about the year restrictions, we will have another contest for later cars in the near future. Let’s get our 60’s nostalgia fix first.
Any scale, from 1/87 through 1/8 is acceptable. Die-casts are allowed as a base, but you must describe any modifications you made to create your racing version.

First Prize – Escort Trans-Kit
Many thanks to William de Pooter, who has donated the first prize for this contest: his Ford Escort MkI Trans-kit. These photos give a good impression of what you can build with this kit. Other versions (i.e. from other races) of both the Alan Mann and Broadspeed cars can also be built with the decals provided. The ESCI/Revell AG kit is needed as a donor.
Let’s get building, and send me your entries soon.
