1/43 Ferrari 512C Kits by Provence Moulage and HiFi
Comparison Kit Review by Charles Wong
The most significant difference between these two kits is the size of the body. The Hifi body is larger in every aspect - length, width and height.
Provence Moulage molded the lamp lenses into the main body, and they're also made of opaque resin. Hifi, on the other hand, gives you separate colored lenses. They're not very clear though, but you can always cast a new set yourself with clear resin.
The photoetched sheet provided by Hifi is pretty spartan - just 1 wiper blade. Provence Moulage gives you quite a number of photoetched parts. However, the Provence Moulage kit has wires molded into the engine block area. If you want to improve this you'll have to use a router to get rid of all these, and drill 0.4mm holes yourself.

HiFi Kit Contents:
Translucent lens (red)
Translucent lens (orange)
White metal body + baseplate
Engine
Rubber wheels
Decal sheet
Instruction booklet with black/white reference photos
Vacuformed windscreen/windows
Tiny photoetched sheet with 1 wiper

Provence Moulage kit Contents:
Resin body + chassis
Rubber wheels
Decal sheet
Instruction sheet with color decal placement photo
Vacuformed windscreen/windows
Photoetched sheet
As for the decals, I feel that the Provence sheet looks more lively. Brighter, more saturated colors are present when compared with the Hifi kit.
