I was a Motorsports photographer from 1984 through 1997, shooting all kinds of upper level racing for about twenty five weekends each year. But my passion was in F1, even though I only got to one or two grands prix each season. I shot for Racer, Car & Driver (still do), Road & Track, Autosport, and other racing rags, as well as for sponsors and manufacturers.

I have pics in Autocourse from 90-97, and the cover on 92 and 97: the only American shooter to ever get a cover on that book.

I started to lose interest in shooting racing when Senna was killed, and it took about three more years to undo the business end of it, as shooting racing in a world without him just drained me of my interest. However, I'll be a modeler of those cars and a racehead forever.
