This model is based on the Tamiya 1:12 scale kit, and it was originally built in the early 1980's, before I began using my airbrush and polishing cloths. Over the last couple of months, I stripped the paint off the body, repainted with Tamiya Italian Red, polished and redecaled.

Just a few extra details were added, as noted below.

Brake lines, extra electrical and instrument wires, battery holder bracket

Springs to hold exhaust pipes

White cloth insert on seat

Cloth material glued to backside of body and painted to simulate fiberglas
