Ferrari 166MM "Uovo"
by Trevor Taylor

This is the Tron 1/24 resin kit of Giannino Marzotto's 1951 Ferrari 166MM rebodied by Fontana after a crash.

The car is known as the "Uovo" or egg in
Italian because of it's unique shape.

I built the kit out of box and finished it with Tamiya lacquer inside and out. My aim was to capture the look of a 50's Auto Salon show car. I suppose I was successful.

Looks successful to me Trevor - what a nice job on such a special car - kjs
